Week 3, 12/17 to 12/18

(This may change from day to day depending on how much we actually get done in class so check back often to make sure something wasn't changed at the last minute.)

I passed out progress reports in all my Science classes so that students can catch up on missing work over the Winter Break! Happy Holidays everyone!

Daily Schedule
1st per - 7:35am to 8:37am
2nd per - 8:41am to 9:33am
3rd per - 9:37am to 10:29am
Eagle Time - 10:33am to 11:00am
Lunch - 11:00am to 11:32am
4th per - 11:36am to 12:28pm
5th per - 12:32pm to 1:24pm
6th per - 1:28pm to 2:20pm

6th grade Science:

Monday - Today we have a few things to wrap up in each class with regards to last week's PowerPoint presentations.

Then we will start to discuss making the Water Quality Websites! We will look samples of the websites 6th graders made in the past six years to learn what is possible and to see some possible mistakes that we will hopefully avoid.

HW - None

Tuesday - Continue looking at past Water Quality Websites to generate ideas.

HW - None, unless you still need to finish your Salmon Webquest or your class notes (go to the water quality websites)! I passed out progress reports today so students know what they are missing. The Salmon Webquest were assigned as HW for anyone who didn't finish them on Nov 26. After January 4th I will no longer accept them.

7th grade Science:

Monday - Today students will use the QX5 Digital Microscopes to capture screenshots of the living things they find in their sample of creek water.

Then students will find a way to share their screenshots through their blogs.

HW - Blog Assignment #4

Tuesday - Continuation of yesterday's activity if students need more time.

HW - Blog (only #4 is homework because #5 we are working on in class) and brochure if it's still not done! Otherwise, you have no HW :o) I passed out progress reports (again!) so students would know if they need to do their brochure over the break.
