Week 13, 3/3 to 3/7

(This may change from day to day depending on how much we actually get done in class so check back often to make sure something wasn't changed at the last minute.)

Daily Schedule
1st per - 7:35am to 8:37am
2nd per - 8:41am to 9:33am
3rd per - 9:37am to 10:29am
Eagle Time - 10:33am to 11:00am
Lunch - 11:00am to 11:32am
4th per - 11:36am to 12:28pm
5th per - 12:32pm to 1:24pm
6th per - 1:28pm to 2:20pm

6th grade Science:

Monday - Today we began working on the lesson 3 reflection questions.

HW - Dress to dig holes and plant trees tomorrow.

Tuesday - Today is our tree planting day. Alicia from NOSC will lead us in doing this from right here on our campus.

HW - Here is a copy of the EMM Lesson 3 questions for those who missed part of it. You can at least copy the questions to know what to ask your teammates.

Wednesday - Today is an early release and I will be away participating in the long boat training with the other 7th grade teachers. While I'm gone students will work on their EMM lessons 1, 2 and 3 readings since today they will get back their sheets with a progress report to fix their answers.

HW - None

Thursday - Today we will finish the lesson 3 reflections so that we can start EMM Lesson 4.

HW - None

Friday - Today we started EMM Lesson 4 on Storing and Using Energy in a Battery. We will finish it on Monday.

HW - None, unless you still have missing work. Next week is the last week of the trimester!

 

7th grade Science:

Monday - Today 4th period started their meiosis II presentations. Fifth period just finished their meiosis I presentations today.

HW - None

Tuesday - Meiosis II presentations continued. (Period 4 has completed all their presentations while Period 5 still has a few left to go - one more class period should do it for them.)

HW - Here is a copy of the Meiosis Notes students wrote up for those who missed any part of this. Just download it and copy the notes to get credit.

Wednesday - Today is an early release and I will be away participating in the long boat training with the other 7th grade teachers. While I'm gone students will work on drawing and labeling a virus from the textbook.

HW - None

Thursday - Today 4th per worked on their meiosis reflections while 5th per finished their presentations.

HW - None

Friday - Fourth period finished their meiosis reflections and then I gave them time to finish working on pages 52 to 55 in their Life Science textbooks (on Viruses). Fifth period did their meiosis reflections today.

HW - None, unless you still have missing work. Next week is the last week of the trimester!
