Check 3rd Trimester Midterm grades here!

Some 6th and 7th graders are still way behind on their blogging homework. Students need to keep up with their blogging assignments, which is why I have it assigned as homework every night (those who do it won't have it as homework every night, though). The homework is affecting their grade in Science and this trimester there is no time for late work!

Daily Schedule
1st per - 7:35am to 8:37am
2nd per - 8:41am to 9:33am
3rd per - 9:37am to 10:29am
Eagle Time - 10:33am to 11:00am
Lunch - 11:00am to 11:32am
4th per - 11:36am to 12:28pm
5th per - 12:32pm to 1:24pm
6th per - 1:28pm to 2:20pm

6th grade Science:

Monday - Memorial Day - No School!
HW - None
Tuesday - Today we will start Lesson 9 on Power!
HW - Blog to catch up if you're behind. All 6th graders were given a paper copy of their progress report today to show their parents. I am still updating those grades weekly (sometimes more than once a week) on my online progress reports.
Wednesday - Today we will start Lesson 10, the Assessment for the first unit on Energy!
HW - Blog to catch up if you're behind.
Thursday - Today students will work on 10.2 and 10.3 to complete their assessment.

Friday - Today students will finish Lesson 9 on Power.

7th grade Science:

Monday - Memorial Day - No School!
HW - None
Tuesday - Friday: All 7th graders will be in their eight longboat teams working through our longboat curricula. In Science students will be working on learning about Tides and Tide Pool Taxonomy and starting this Thursday students will begin the marine animal dissections (we will begin with sponges, hydra, mussels, sea stars, and we will end with crayfish and perch fish).
