Week 11, 6/2 to 6/6

(This may change from day to day depending on how much we actually get done in class so check back often to make sure something wasn't changed at the last minute.)

Daily Schedule
1st per - 7:35am to 8:37am
2nd per - 8:41am to 9:33am
3rd per - 9:37am to 10:29am
Eagle Time - 10:33am to 11:00am
Lunch - 11:00am to 11:32am
4th per - 11:36am to 12:28pm
5th per - 12:32pm to 1:24pm
6th per - 1:28pm to 2:20pm

6th grade Science:

Monday - Today we jumped to Lesson 13 on the Lever.

Tuesday - Today students will continue to work on the Lever lab, Inquiry 13.1.

Wednesday - Today students were to finish 13.1 and start 13.2 where they are checking to see how a lever affects the effort force and effort distance required to lift the load (K-nex sled with 14 washers).

Thursday - Today students should finish 13.2 and do the reflection questions.

Friday - If students are ready, we will start the Inclinced Planes lesson today, Lesson 11. Otherwise, students will finish lesson 13.

 

7th grade Science:

Monday - Today all my 7th grade Science students got an updated progress report and had class time to make up any missing work.

Tuesday - Friday: All 7th graders will be in their eight longboat teams working through our longboat curricula. In Science students will be working on marine animal dissections (we will begin with sponges, hydra, and mussels, and we will end with crayfish, sea stars, and perch fish).
