8th grade Science:

Monday - Today we will finish correcting the plate boundary sheet (Scientist's Ideas).

HW - Please complete the first Blog assignment of the 3rd Trimester on the Plate Tectonics project we just finished.

Tuesday -Today we will compare our plate boundary maps to the real thing. I want kids to see how close they came to figuring out where divergent, convergent and transform boundaries are located.

Then we'll start practicing for the Science WASL. I made a packet with all types of questions to prepare for this year's Science WASL. I chose mainly Physical and Life Science questions because this year we have Earth well covered.

Even though the WASL will change form since I have been teaching Science to most of my students since 6th grade I really want them to do their best so that I can see what impact my Science program had on them. I know we've done some great Science and I am hoping their scores will reflect just that.
