HW - None

Tuesday - Today students will finish the reflection questions for lesson 6. We will go over those questions in class. This will conclude lesson 6!

HW - Here is lesson 6 in case you missed any part of it. You might still need to stay after school to borrow a book or equipment. The lesson 6, or friction, blog is also now open so please do that this week.

Wednesday - Today we will finish correcting lesson 6. Then we will begin a full lab complete with a full lab write-up on pendulums. Students will use all the Inuiry Boards I have been showing them. This will prepare them for the lesson 7 investigation they will do when I return from Odyssey.

HW - None, unless you didn't do your friction blog assignment.

Thursday - Today we will continue working on our pendulums labs. Students will write their problem question, a hypothesis, and then their procedure to do the lab and collect data.

HW - Same as Wednesday.

Friday - Today we will go over the pendulum labs so that students can graph their results and write their conclusions.

HW - Same as Wednesday.

8th grade Science:

Monday - Today teams will finish planning their investigation using the stream tables. They will finish choosing their variables and controls, writing their problems, hypothesis and procedure, and once I approve them the teams will begin their experiments. (Lab write-up scoring rubric.)

HW - None

Tuesday - Stream table labs continued. (Lab write-up scoring rubric.)

HW - None

Wednesday - Stream table labs continued. (Lab write-up scoring rubric.) This is the last day to collect data! Deadline! Deadline!

Students need to graph their data and write their conclusion paragraphs so that we can score these tomorrow.

HW - Finish your conclusion at home if you didn't finish it in class. This means everyone in 2nd period!

Thursday - Today we will score the lab write-ups. (Lab write-up scoring rubric.) Second period will score 5th period's labs, 4th period will score 2nd period's labs, and 5th period will score 4th period's labs.

Then we will start watching some short videos I got about rivers and land formation. This will tie together all we've been learning doing these stream table labs. Students will take notes on what they view.

HW - Bring your Odyssey gear tomorrow.

Friday - Once we are done with checking gear, we will finish viewing the river and land formation videos. Students will continue to take notes. Once done we will be ready for Odyssey next week!

HW - Get ready to leave for Camp David, Jr. on Monday!
