6th grade Science:

Monday - Today as teams get their experimental procedures approved they will be able to begin conducting their experiment, collected data, then graphing their data.

HW - None

Tuesday - Today I have a Science meeting with the middle and high school Science teachers (our PLC meeting) so I will have a sub.

Sixth graders will begin by reading comments some of them got from students in Colorado then they will visit their blog and read their articles to leave comments of our own. We will also be reading each other's articles to leave comments on our blogs as well.

HW - None

Wednesday - Today 7th and 8th graders will be taking their MSP test so I will not see my 3rd period class (Mr. Olafson's). My 1st and 6th period classes will be graphing their results from Monday and beginning to write their conclusions.

HW - Here is a copy of the Inquiry Boards we are using in class to design, plan and write-up our labs. Here is an updated copy of our lesson 5 class notes and lab write-up thus far. You can use the above two documents in case you missed anything or were absent any of the days we worked on lesson 5.

Thursday - Today we will work on our conclusions. Third period will catch up while 1st and 2nd finish and share what they learned.

HW - None

Friday - Today we will be on Early Release schedule. I need to be gone today so 6th graders will take time to visit the students in Colorado blog and leave them comments (they didn't get to Tuesday while I was working with my Science team).

We should be on a shortened schedule today, about 22 minutes per class, so commenting that class will take the whole period.

HW - None

7/8 grade Science:

Monday - Today teams will continue their real world problem and solution research for the weathering and erosion webquest. I will ask students how they would like to present their findings to the class so they can begin to work on that part this week.

HW - None

Tuesday - Today I have a Science meeting with the middle and high school Science teachers (our PLC meeting) so I will have a sub.
