This is the last week of the 1st Trimester. Friday there will be no school as that is our trimester break. Well, sort of. Friday there is still no school but the trimester was extended until Tuesday, Dec 7.

1st per - 7:45am to 8:37am
2nd per - 8:41am to 9:33am
3rd per - 9:37am to 10:29am
Eagle Time - 10:33am to 11:00am
Lunch - 11:00am to 11:32am
4th per - 11:36am to 12:28pm
5th per - 12:32pm to 1:24pm
6th per - 1:28pm to 2:20pm

6th grade Science:

Monday - Today students will continue their work on the Salmon Webquest.
HW - None
Tuesday - Students are still working on the Salmon Webquest. There are a few students in each class who are almost done and are already posting their written work onto their blogs. Once more students finish their drawings I will show everyone how to upload them so they can put them on the blogs.

Wednesday - Today students will keep working on their Salmon Webquest.

Thursday - Students are still plugging away at their Salmon Webquest. Those that have completed the descriptions, needs and threats for all six salmon life cycle stages and have completed their drawings for all six stages are now working on confiriming their finding by reading other websites about salmon and finding interesting facts to add to their documents. Some are sharing great stories of their own fishing experiences!

Friday - Non-Student Day still on so there will be no school today.

8th grade Science:

Monday - Today students need to take their living things quiz if they haven't already, check their blogs, finish blogging and commenting.
HW - None
Tuesday - Today some students need to finish their living things quiz. The rest of us will continue reading and commenting on each other's blogs as well as another 8th grade Science class from across the country.

Wednesday - Today we will continue our work learning about microscopes. Students are learning to use our compound microscopes that can magnify 40x, 100x and 400x's.
We will review pg 9 from the packet and then complete pgs 11 & 12.

Thursday - Today student teams will work on completing their microscope packet pages 11 and 12.

Friday - Non-Student Day still on so there will be no school today.
