Mr. González's Classes Daily Activities Week 4, 1/10 to 1/14

6th grade Science: Monday - While students continue to work on the salmon life cycle and finish their salmon life cycle blogs as well as working on learing about the water cycle and work on that blog I will continue training individual teams on how to use the water quality equipment (here's a list of the jobs students will be doing). HW - Students and parents that have not taken the SpeakUp Tech Survey yet have until Jan 21 to do so (the password for everyone is studentsurvey). Let us know your opinions on using technology to learn in school. Tuesday - Early Release today. We will have 1st and 3rd period today. Today will look the same as Monday as students continue to work on their projects while I train small groups of students on how to do their water quality jobs. HW - None Wednesday - Snow day today - no school. HW - See you at Eagle Night tonight. Thursday - Today training will be continued. HW - None Friday - Today we will work on training the nitrates group. HW - None

8th grade Science: Monday - Both classes are working on learning the differences and similarities between different kinds of cells by drawing and labeling an animal and a plant cell. They will show what they learned by completing this blog assignment.
