Mr. González's Classes Daily Activities Week 5, 1/17 to 1/21

6th grade Science: Monday - No school today - Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. HW - Students and parents that have not taken the SpeakUp Tech Survey yet have until Jan 21 to do so (the password for everyone is studentsurvey). Let us know your opinions on using technology to learn in school. Tuesday - Students will continue to work on the salmon life cycle and finish their salmon life cycle blogs as well as working on learing about the water cycle and work on that blog I will finish training individual teams on how to use the water quality equipment (here's a list of the jobs students will be doing). Today I will work on nitrates then ammonium. HW - None Wednesday - Today I will wrap up any trainings that still need to be done. Depending on readiness we will either start going down the creek to collect water quality data today or tomorrow. HW - None Thursday - We will be visiting the creek each day to collect water quality data. HW - None Friday - Same as yesterday. HW - None

HW - None Wednesday - Today students will answer a question and view a demo about air (whether air has mass or not). HW - None Thursday - Based on what students learned yesterday they will answer a question about sequoia trees. Teams will share their ideas using whiteboards. HW - None Friday - Today we are going to wrap up yesterday's activity. HW - None
