6th grade Science:

Monday to Friday - Students are still working on their water quality blogs using the following organizer.

Students will have their graphs, photos and short movies on their blogs so we will be working on all of those parts this week.

Tuesday each class will walk across the street to Spring Rain Farms to plant trees along that stretch of Chimacum Creek. This is part of our water quality project where students get to provide another service for our community creek to support the coho and chum salmon runs.

Friday we will have a guest presenter to do an activity where students will track where our food comes from.

HW - Have parents sign your permission slip for Tuesday's tree planting field trip if you haven't already (most students turned their permission slips in on time). Otherwise there's no homework.

8th grade Science:

Monday to Friday - Some student teams are still planning their plant project while others are ready to start working on it. This week is the week to start the project, do the research and prep the lab to collect data.

Thursday we had a discussion about discipline issues at our school in 2nd period.

Friday we will have a guest presenter to do an activity where students will track where our food comes from.
