6th grade Science:

Monday - Today I have some handouts for students to do some self assessing. Students will have an opportunity to think about the work they've done during the second half of the second trimester (today is the first day of the third and last trimester of the year!).

HW - Fill out your final grade negotiation sheet.

Tuesday to Friday - Students will be putting the finishing touches on their final water quality project this week. This week is the deadline. By the end of the week students will be completing a survey for the Learn & Serve folk who have provided us with the grant money that I used to purchase all of our equipment.

Tuesday I will have a sub so that I can meet with our middle and high school Science team.

By Wednesday students will have time to finish the assessment handout they got on Monday (some didn't finish).

Friday students will use the following sheet to record what they learn from reading and commenting on each other's blogs!

Tuesday to Friday - This week student teams will be preparing and working on their plant project presentations. Teams will present their project research to share what they learned with the class, they will be teaching the class what they learned, and teams will also be sharing the results and conclusions from their experiments.

Tuesday I will have a sub so that I can meet with our middle and high school Science team.

Timeline:
By this Friday, March 25, presentations should be completed.

Starting next week, Monday, March 28, teams will present what they learned to their classmates.

HW - Finish your presentations so that you are ready to go next week.
