1st per - 7:45am to 8:37am
2nd per - 8:41am to 9:33am
3rd per - 9:37am to 10:29am
Eagle Time - 10:33am to 11:00am
Lunch - 11:00am to 11:32am
4th per - 11:36am to 12:28pm
5th per - 12:32pm to 1:24pm
6th per - 1:28pm to 2:20pm

6th grade Science:

Monday - Today student teams will do a lab where they will be measuring the elastic force of a rubber band.
HW - None
Tuesday - Today students will graph their data and answer some questions. We will go over those questions today.
HW - None
Wednesday - Today we will finish reviewing yesterday's questions to that we can start part 2 of lesson 5 on the force of gravity.
HW - Show your parents the May 17th field trip permission packet. Bring the permission slip and work and photo release forms filled out and signed to me as soon as you can. Parents are invited to join us so let me know if you want to come along.
Thursday - Today we will work on part two of lesson 5, inquiry 5.2, on the force of gravity.
Teams will be designing their own experiment and writing their step by step procedure.
HW - None
Friday - Teams will begin their mass vs weight experiments once their procedures are approved.

8th grade Science:

Monday - Today some students need to finish responding to the diversity of life questions by leaving my blog post a comment. Then students will complete a slime mold blog to write about what they learned on Friday from our socratic circle discussion.
Towards the end of the period students will start doing some mini projects in preparation for Odyssey. We will begin by learning about the Elwha River Valley ecosystem, which includes the building of the two dams that are now slated to be taken down.
HW - None
Tuesday - Today students will get to work on anything they didn't finish yesterday. Teams should start working on their Elwha River Valley ecosystem glog activity.
HW - None
Wednesday - Same as yesterday for 2nd period. 5th period will spend part of the class time in the computer lab to take the practice Online Science MSP test.
HW - None
Thursday - Today students will continue to work on their Elwha River Valley ecosystem glog activity.
HW - None
Friday - Today 2nd period will get to spend some time in the computer lab taking the Online Science MSP practice test.
Period 5 students will finish their Elwha River Valley ecosystem glog activity.
I also have a survey for students to think about how they learn best.
