Week 12, 6/13 to 6/17

(This may change from day to day depending on how much we actually get done in class so check back often to make sure something wasn't changed at the last minute.)

1st per - 7:45am to 8:37am
2nd per - 8:41am to 9:33am
3rd per - 9:37am to 10:29am
Eagle Time - 10:33am to 11:00am
Lunch - 11:00am to 11:32am
4th per - 11:36am to 12:28pm
5th per - 12:32pm to 1:24pm
6th per - 1:28pm to 2:20pm

6th grade Science:

Monday to Friday - This week 6th graders will be designing experiments to see how many washers they can get a little motor to lift. They will be writing their own procedure and then implementing it to collect data. Teams will share their data to see which arrangements led the motor to lift the most washers.

Period 6 will only be meeting until Wednesday this week because the staff vs students games will be taking place Thursday and Friday from 1 to 2:15pm.

HW - None!

8th grade Science:

Monday to Friday - This week 8th graders will finishing their comparative animal dissection study. Second period gets the full week to finish dissecting an earth worm, a crayfish, a grasshopper, a sea star, a frog and a perch fish. Then they can complete their reflection questions. Fifth period will have shortened days on Thursday and Friday due to the staff vs students games starting at 1pm, so they will dissect the animals in a different order to have the most time with the most complex animals, the crayfish, frog and perch. On Thursday and Friday they will work on the sea star and grasshopper. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday they can work on their reflection questions.

HW - None!
