6th grade Science:

Monday - Today and Tuesday/Wednesday students will be finishing up their Water Quality Final Conclusion Blog. Students also need to respond to a water quality project self-assessment activity using the Science standards.

We will also start to work on a blogger's challenge.

HW - None

Tuesday - Today we are on an Early Release schedule. I will see my 1st and 5th period classes today.

Students will continue to work on what we started yesterday.

Wednesday - Today we are on an Early Release schedule. I will see my 6th period class today.

Students will continue to work on what we started on Monday.

Thursday - Today students had more time to finish their water quality standards self-assessment activity and upload them to their team's google docs account. Students were also working on their water quality final conclusion blogs. Those who were done with everything began working on our March 2012 blogging challenge.

HW - Today was the deadline for students to finish their water quality final conclusion blog and to finish their water quality standards self-assessment. Whatever they didn't finish in class has to be done either at home or somewhere students can access a computer with internet access.

Friday - Today we will be taking a tour and learning about Chimacum's new rain garden!

HW - Same as yesterday.

8th grade Science:

Monday - Today students will select teams to start working on their plant science fair projects.

HW - None

Tuesday - Today we are on an Early Release schedule. I will see my 3rd period class today.

Today they should have their plant project plans completed.

HW - Arrange to bring what you will need to conduct your plant experiments.

Wednesday - Today we are on an Early Release schedule. I will see my 4th period class today.

Today they should have their plant project plans completed.

Thursday - Today 3rd period didn't have Science because of Career Day activities that happening during that time.

By today teams should begin researching their plant project questions (every member of each team needs to have questions to research on their team project). Teams should also begin to plan their plant experiments.
