Mr. González' Classes Homework/ Daily Activities Week 12, 11/20 to 11/24

6th grade Science: Monday - Today we will work on EMM lesson 6, part 6.2 and part 6.3 on pages 51 to 53. HW - None Tuesday - We will be working on finishing EMM lesson 6. Students will work on their reflection questions today, page 53, and do the reading, pages 54 to 61. I will have a sub so that I may work on my science lesson study for my 7th grade science class. HW - None Wednesday - Today I gave students time to completely finish EMM lesson 6. I explained what was required for an A and even provided data for those who didn't have time to collect all their data. If students used their time well, they should get a good grade on lesson 6, which is their first official scored lab for the second trimester! Early Release - Dismiss at 12:40pm. HW - None, have a great Thanksgiving! Thursday - No School - Thanksgiving Holiday. HW - None Friday - No School - Thanksgiving Holiday. HW - None

7th grade Science: Monday - Today we will score and evaluate our Density Dilemma letters to the Grecian King, His Majesty Hiero II (me). Then we will see some density videos including a short video to prepare us for tomorrow's lab. HW - None Tuesday - Today we will conduct a density lab with crayons. Students will use Inquiry Boards to prepare, conduct, and write up their lab. I will have several guest teachers join us today as part of my science partnership lesson study. They will be here to observe the use of Inquiry Boards. HW - None Wednesday - We will continue to work on yesterday's lab (yesterday students got as far as writing up their procedure for the lab so today teams should start their lab and collect data!).
