Machinima #3dgamelab

What is machinima? It’s defined as, “the use of real-time computer graphics engines to create a cinematic production. Most often, video games are used to generate the computer animation.” (Wikipedia) In other words you use some kind of screen capture to make a video of you playing a game. You use that video to share what you’re doing, how you beat a level, how you level up or to teach others how to do something in the game. It’s people helping people. I want to use this somehow in my classroom with my 3DGL quests.

Here a quick, short machinima I made for a Teacher Camp in 3DGL with an avatar I created in Second Life:
