Mr. González' Classes Homework/ Daily Activities Week 4, 4/17 to 4/21

Social Studies: Tuesday - Math WASL test 1 (with tools): 8:30am to 10:30am. Today I will have my morning class 5th period and my afternoon class 6th period. In each class, we will finish the last two or three PowerPoint presentations then we will begin to work on phase 1 of our Canadian Vacation Project. Phase 1 is where teams begin to research and learn about Canada (each team will assigned different provinces to study). HW - None Wednesday - We will continue to work on phase 1 of our Canadian Vacation Project. 3rd period - Project Alert with guest presenter, Kelly Matlock. HW - None Friday - We will continue to work on phase 1, the research phase, of our Canadian Vacation Project. HW - None

Science: Monday - We will continue to use our Water Quality notebooks as we finish taking notes from our science textbook in outline format. I taught students how to use the SCAN-n-RUN strategy to pre-read their textbook and how to take notes in outline format. We will continue to read Chapter 12 sections 1 and 3 of our Science Explorer Earth Science textbook to take the notes. This week is the deadline to finish taking these notes. If students do NOT get enough time to finish in class, we will make arrangements for students to get caught up. HW - None Thursday - Reading WASL test 1: 8:30am to 10:30am. Today I will have my morning class 5th period and my afternoon class 6th period. In each class, students will be trying to finish their Science Explorer Earth Science textbook Chapter 12 section 3 notes. Well, that was the plan for today but due to unforseen circumstances I have had to extend the deadline to Monday, April 24, when students will get another chance to work on their notes again. HW - None
