6th grade Science:

Monday - Today periods 1 and 3 will work on The Case of the Mysterious Macros activitiy. Today is the last day so those who aren't done need to finish it for homework.
Period 6 will begin working on copying their data into excel so that we can make graphs to analyze the data.

Tuesday - Today periods 1 and 3 began to put their data onto Excel while period 6 finished putting their data in and began to create their graphs.
HW - Finish the Case of the Mysterious Macros if you haven't finished. I will start grading those after Winter Break so you have some time to finish.
Wednesday - Today periods 1 and 3 began to put their data onto Excel and started to create their graphs. In period 6 student teams will finish graphing their data on Excel so that they can start researching the tests they conducted on our creek. They will get to learn what their results actually mean! Students will use this sheet as a graphic organizer to record their research. They will use these websites to conduct their research.

7/8 grade Science:

Monday - Today teams will finish The Heat is on! and we will correct it.
HW - None
Tuesday - Today we finished correcting The Heat is on! webquest.
Then students did a quick formative assessment on Earth's Layers.
HW - Time to blog, next blog assignment is on HEAT.
Wednesday - Today students will correct their Earth's Layers diagram on the back of their sheet using this website.
Then we will begin a measuring activity.
HW - Same as Tuesday.
Thursday - Today we will finish the measuring activity, then we will begin the next activity where students will examine some properties of Earth materials.
HW - Same as Tuesday.
Friday - Today students will take a short quiz on Biomes to see what they remember.
Then we will continue to work on the properties of Earth materials lab.
HW - Same as Tuesday.
